Oyebanji commiserates with Lagos govt, people over train accident

Gov. Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti State has commiserated with his Lagos State counterpart, Gov. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, over Thursday’s train accident, which left six people dead and several others injured.

 

The accident involved a train and a bus, conveying Lagos State Government workers, at a level crossing in the Shogunle area,

 

Oyebanji, in a statement issued by his Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yinka Oyebode, on Thursda, in Ado-Ekiti, condoled with Sanwo-Olu, the families and colleagues of victims of the accident, as well as the government and people of the state.

 

“Our thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the accident and their families at this difficult time.

 

“We also pray for speedy recovery for those who sustained injuries in the accident.

 

“While we commiserate with the families and colleagues of the victims, we pray that God will repose the souls of the deceased and grant the injured speedy recovery,” Oyebanji is quoted as saying in the statement.
