Wizkid wins 2020 BET Soul Train Award for second time

Ace musician Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, professional known as Wizkid, has won his second Soul Train Award, alongside Beyoncé, for their collaboration on “Brown Skin Girl” in the “The Lion King: The Gift” album.

 

The award show took place on Sunday.

 

The event, which was aired on BET, saw Chris Brown emerge the top winner with four wins (including Best R&B/Soul male artist and Song of the Year) out of 12 categories, followed by H.E.R, who won two awards (including Best R&B/Soul female artist).

Lady of Soul Award: Monica

Soul Train Certified Award: Brandy

Best New Artist: Snoh Aalegra
